Dd suddenly has small brown mole like dots just above knee

The are smooth and look like moles but she reckons they just appeared today they are definitely dark brown very small

Felt tip pen? Dirt? If they are neither of these, might be worth keeping an eye on.

Have they just appeared or has she only just noticed them?

To be honest I not sure!
