Am I the only person who looks at

The reels on Instagram of people having their colours done and can genuinely not work out which colours are the ones that best suit them?

I am obsessed with understanding how the colours that suit people are worked out. It fascinates me and I'd love to be able to see it myself.

I know it's supposed to be that the colours that are right for you light your eyes up and minimise any dark circles, but I just can't see it on the models.

Am I the only one? Any tips for things to look out for to make it clear to me?

I know it's not important in the grand scheme of things but I really wish I could see it.

I keep seeing them on TikTok.

I think I’m a dark Autumn. But with every post I doubt myself more.

I definitely can’t wear pastels. I look very corpse-like.

People tell me I look good in black. I definitely suit darker colours - burgundy, navy, olive and terracotta.

Half the time I will think they're going to say one colour looks better and then they will say the opposite.

I can’t work it out either

But then again I’m the person who can’t do those Recaptcha verify you’re not a robot things or magic eye pictures 😂

I think the best way to see it is when you see the person first and not the colour they're wearing.
The colour complements their features but doesn't overwhelm them so much you see it dirsty

No I can't either. I know what colours suit me but someone else is like going to the optitians and having to decide if 1 or 2 is less blury!

I can clearly see it on myself and know which colours to wear. When I wear my season's colours I get compliments that the colour really suits me.

I can never see it on those videos though!!

That makes me feel better. It's not just me. Half my problem, I think, is what a pp said - I think 'oh right, I see it, it's that one' and then it turns out to be the other set of colours and they don't explain why.

The idea of it being correct when you see the person and not the colours is interesting, I'll try that!
