Has anyone here returned a mattress to Benson for Beds?

And if so did they accept it back no problem? they said something about if we didn’t like it in the first 30 days we could return it.

We got a new and expensive mattress last week and it is much harder than it seemed in the shop, it’s like sleeping on a park bench. I hate it. I’ve ordered a mattress topper to see if that helps…though seems a bit daft to have a brand new mattress which is so bad that you need a topper.

I bought a mattress from them, very spendy, and it developed a noticeable dip within the first few weeks. They sent a chap out to measure the dip and said it was within acceptable depth! That it had a dip at all did not bother them. They never accepted responsibility for their shoddy mattress.
If it makes any difference I weigh 8 stone. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

I’m just looking at the small print, says we must have used a mattress protector, well we have but not sure we can prove that if asked to.

it’s exchange only, so we have to choose a new mattress from them. If the new mattress is cheaper we don’t get the difference back which is a bit of a con.

says we have to pay 10% cost of the old mattress and a redelivery charge for the new mattress.

That’s really bad. The one I’ve got is a Sealy brand so I’m hoping it will be good quality and not faulty.
