Does anyone know if such a thing exists?
DS1 is 19, passed his test couple of years ago, but we can’t afford to buy him a car. Nor would there be much point, as he’s away at uni most of the year, and wouldn’t need a car anyway. However, we live rurally (negligible public transport), and in the summer he gets bored and fed up with not being able to drive easily to town to see friends, and having to rely on when my car might be available. Anyway, I wondered if there was any way of getting him a car just for the summer. Normal car hire places are crazily expensive and don’t hire cars to 19 year olds anyway.
He has some money from holiday work but not enough to buy a car.
Anyone got any ideas?
