How can I beat premenstrual starvation?

Every month it ruins my attempts to lose weight. The week before my period I am ravenous. I get so hungry and my will power gives way.

Does anyone else have this and how can I hold it at bay?

Exactly the same. The hunger is off the scale. I found intermittent fasting curbed the pangs a bit but didn't kill them off altogether

Also exactly the same. I put on 2lbs and then lose it again every month. Pretty soul destroying!

I’ve no idea. I sometimes think lots of protein make me more full but period hunger seems only to be satisfied with huge amounts of white carbs.

I find it really tough too 💐

Yes!!!! I’m finding high protein and higher calorie early in the day - and lower calorie and carb evening meals during that time of the month help. Not massively, but a tweak.

its brutal isn’t it?
