Peugeot 5008 with car seats

We're looking at getting a 2021 Peugeot 5008 which seems to be a popular family car. However it has underfloor storage in the middle, and AFAIK you can't use any car seat with a support leg on these.

This seems surprising for a family car, so though I'd just check with any other 5008 owners.

Do you just have to buy car seats which don't have a support leg? This seems to greatly restrict the choice of car seats.

Or I've read you can install "foam fillers" to support the lid of the box, but I can't find anywhere that supplies these. Does anyone else have them, and could advise where you bought them?

Thanks!

Since 2013, car manufacturers and car seat manufacturers have been "talking to each other" a lot more so you get things like reinforced lids rather than needing filler pieces. Underfloor storage is largely an outdated concern these days.

We have a 5008 - I think it's 2022 or 2023 but can't remember (not in UK so numberplate does not help!) and we can use support legs on the middle row. It also has top tether hooks on all three seats. I don't think we have ever used the storage boxes if they are even there.

The peugeot manuals are downloadable here anyway - switch to English at the top, and then find your model, the thing that looks like a switch next to the year is supposed to indicate Right Hand Drive (UK driving position).

Be aware they did combine the 3008/5008 manuals although it's listed separately under 3008 and 5008, and then the differences are shown in a really confusing way - at the start they explain that there is a symbol (pictogram of car shape) showing which parts apply to 3008 only vs 5008 only, but it's not a very intuitive symbol and they look almost the same, so when you flip to the child seats page you have to make sure you're reading the right part.

Thanks for the info. I've also emailed Peugeot but not heard back yet.
