Is it the pay?

Or do you like the impact and the actual work itself?

My job is at an average pay, enough to live off and have some fun. But I do quite like the work, and the stuff I've done has been able to have a meaningful impact on society.

Definitely pay.

I made the decision when I became a young single parent to chase money instead of social impact. I'm happy with my choice and still feel pretty fulfilled but if money was no object I'd take a massive pay cut and work with at-risk kids.
