Saw my perfect job advertised

It’s the right hours, in a place I’d love to work. The sign on the window said to pop in, so I did but the person I needed to speak to wasn’t there so I left my details and they said they’d call me.
Do I just wait? Do I pop in again? Do I ring them?
I don’t want to hassle them but I also don’t want to miss out through being passive!
What would you advise?

It’s an independent deli. I’ll be serving customers in the shop as well as preparing orders for shops, hotels, and restaurants and bulk orders for events. The shop part of it is fairly straightforward (although I panicked a bit when someone came in and ordered multiple different things as I have to manually enter them into the till and lost track!) but the bulk orders are a bit more complicated and there’s a lot to learn!

I find think I could work in a deli shop , I'd eat all the stock !

I have the job and started this week. There’s so much to learn and I’m very nervous about my first solo shift in a couple of weeks. You know when someone is so familiar with the job that they explain it from a point way above your knowledge? Have had to keep stopping them and asking them to explain further/give more info. Hopefully that’s not pissing them off too much

Congratulations! Well done your trial must of gone better that you thought.
I know what it's like trying to learn a new job on the go esp with complicated orders I had to learn how to make cocktails with very little training.
Do they have or can you make flash cards to help with the sandwich?
