Can you bring a guest with you to the magistrates swearing in ceremony? And where are the ceremonies typically held.

Thanks in advance.

swearing in ceremonies are normally held in the court room.
yes you can normally invite guests if you are the person being sworn.

but both of these things are subject to the specific rules of the place and the time - for example during Covid there were some online swearing-ins.

EDITED to add - when I said court room, it maybe at the court the magistrates sit in if its close, but it maybe at the nearest Crown Court centre because the swearing in of magistrates is usually conducted in front of a circuit judge.

OK brilliant, thanks.

Is photography permitted, do you know?

I am guessing not, but thought I would ask on the off-chance that anyone here knows
