What colour are my eyes

I've told myself my whole life that I have green eyes. On closer inspection at age 36 I've realised they're not!
The back story is that I got very excited the other day after realising that my (shitty and uninvolved father that I barely know) has brown eyes and my mum has blue. I figured that maybe he isn't my dad after all but alas, apparently eye genetics are more complex than I realised so he probably is my dad after all (sigh). We don't look much alike either so there's still hope.
Anyway, what colour would you say mine are? One gloomy living room and one daylight pic.

I would say green! They're similar-ish to mine & mine are def green with gold rings around the pupil

I'd say grey, browny blue. Loads of people have eyes which aren't a solid definite colour. Mine are hazel but I can make them appear green with makeup and I can almost make them appear sandy coloured.

The same as my ds. His eyes were quite green until he was a teen and then they turned Hazel. He still has a glint of green.

I am brown eyed and tan like a nut. DH is blonde with a hint of ginger and freckles and his eyes are blue/grey. DS tans like a nut but is naturally blonder than me. I think it's my Continental genes trying to force their way out.

DD is all blonde and blue eyed, far more in her father's mould but takes a light tan.

Very pretty green. Hazel imo has more brown.

I'd say green, not a light colour green but since not brown, not blue, not true hazel, I'd have to go with a shade of green.

Your eyes are the same as my daughters. I have blue eyes and my DH has brown eyes. We call it green but it’s really hazel with a tiny bit of blue.

Ah so some of you think more green too. That's interesting!
I'm trying to get my head around the genetics of it, it's so interesting.

They look pretty much exactly like mine and folk always tell me they're hazel! 😂 Even though they're mostly green 🤷🏽‍♀️
