anyone lived in a housing association property before?

I'm going to be moving out of my flat soon and just trying to figure out what I need to do before i leave, They will come out to inspect the flat before I go and I was told if there is any repairs that need doing I need to make sure the jobs are booked in and done before I leave etc

I forgot to ask one thing and I have been calling but no answer at the moment.

Do i need to decorate and paint/gloss etc before I go or do they do that before new person moves in?

No repairs need doing, Majority of the flat is fine but the hall/stairs/landing would need painting, Just wanting to know if I should buy paint this week or not..

I used to work for a HA.
No you will not need to repaint, the voids team will do this before a new tenant moves in, if they need too.
The prevoid inspection you're awaiting should confirm this for you when they attend.

The Housing Associations I deal with would expect the new tenant to sort out redecorating.
