Chatting with my DD age 15 today. She’s got her first boyfriend and they haven’t kissed yet. Her friendship group are all quite innocent though she knows girls her age that have had sex.
I’m quite open with her but there’s obviously stuff she is too embarrassed to ask me or that I feel weird talking about.
It occurred to me that although she has the whole internet at her fingertips, she doesn’t have teen girl magazines. I got so much sex advice from More magazine and Just17 and later Cosmo. I was probably too young for some of it but it wasn’t pornographic (which it would be if she went searching online).
Where are girls supposed to get that kind of advice nowadays?
