Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced venue for lunch near The Savoy Theatre in London? Suitable for 13 year olds and their parents. Independent would also be good. Thanks in advance you lovely lot 😊 xxx

The Boulevard Brasserie round the corner (ish) has a good Prix Fixe menu 12-6 every day

Cote Covent Garden, Tavistock Street, is less than 10 minutes walk away. I've been a few times and service is always good and prices OK

You don’t say a budget, but my favourite is The Delaunay - it’s very close to the Savoy Theatre. The food is delicious.

Budget? What type of food do you like?

lolawasashowgirl · 20/02/2025 22:38

Ooh sorry I haven't been clear on budget. I think I would be looking for something at no more than approx £20 for a main course and ideally cheaper although am not sure how realistic that is? Love Italian but open to all suggestions 😃 xxx

Bocca di Lupo on Archer St is modern Italian, beautiful food and wine, nice buzz — there’s a set two-course lunch/pre-theatre for £18, and á la carte where you can order most things as small plates or large portions, and lots of interesting/unusual wines by the glass. I had lunch there yesterday with my almost 13 year old. They also have an icecream shop across the street, Gelupo.

There’s often someone interesting eating there too — Bill Nighy was there last time I was in.
