Niece turns 14 next weeks and wants a 'surprise' for her bday 😅 Never found this a problem before but at her age it's all about brands, influencers that kind of thing so don't think a primark haul would cut it!! Is there any must have clothing, skin or hair care brands or items u can educate me about??!

Buy her a PLouise mystery box, or just Plouise items if she's into make up & skin care, the brand is viral on tiktok & sought after by this age!

Does she read at all? I got my then 13 year old a Sarah j Maas book after recommendations from here and have never seen her again.

It's the book tok/romantasy thing which seems very popular (they do have some sex in by all accounts which doesn't hugely bother me and I remember the stuff we read at 14).

A TikTok approved book’s a good shout.

My three DDs are a little older, but all of them would be delighted to be given a jellycat. The key rings that can be hung on bags seem to be very popular. And it’s quite nice to give an old fashioned toy!
