Savings account for a 5 year old

Hi all,
Can anyone advise on the best savings account for a young child? Basically one I can pay a bit of money into each month for him to access when he's older. My older son has an account with HSBC that I opened when he was 6 years old. However I have just gone onto the HSBC website and it says the children's account is for aged 7 plus!
I want the account in my son's name.

Do you have stocks and shares isa for dc, if you want proper savings open one of those.
It's good to have something in cash and stock for larger savings.
