Confused by car insurance quote question

We have two cars.
Car 1: I am the registered keeper and main driver. DH is a named driver.
Car 2: DH is the registered keeper and main driver. There are 3 named drivers - me, DS1 and DS2.

DS2 recently scratched another car while driving Car 2. It was his fault.

I am getting a Direct Line insurance quote for Car 1. When I add DH as a named driver it asks "Have you had any accidents, claims or losses - regardless of fault - in the last 5 years". Do I say yes, or no? It was obviously DS2's accident, not DH's, but as DS2 is a named driver on DH's policy, DH's no claims bonus was affected.

I think Yes because DH's insurance had to pay out.

Also, when we re-insure Car 2, do we need to declare the accident for both DH and DS2, or just for one of them?

Missing the point slightly but ....... get a multicar policy (admiral for example) worked out way cheaper for us!

I'd say no as it wasn't dh who had the accident and the others aren't named drivers for your car so it shouldn't affect your policy?

I'd say no. It was DS that had the accident, not the car or your DH.
