Job applications…why are they so dull!

That is all. Yawwwwwn. Been at it for a few hours now and it’s just so boring, isn’t it. Someone cheer me up, what have you ever put on a job app that you look back on and cringe at?
I reckon mine is that I used to include that I played violin to “grade 5 standard”. It’s true but I never took any exams. And it’s not relevant anyway.

If I fail to get the job, I cringe at the whole thing no matter how relevant 😆

Look on the bright side - either you will get the job and it will all be worthwhile, or you won't but you will have an up-to-date application composed which you can then edit and tailor for future applications which is much easier than writing one from scratch.
