Asda rewards....what's happening?!

I used to earn at least a few pounds a week (sometimes more) just by doing weekly and top up shops.

These days, it's rubbish and I've only made £10 on it so far.

Last year I earnt £120 over the year which, unless anything changes on the app, is looking highly unlikely this year.

The reward scheme is one of the main reasons I've stopped shopping at Aldi....if Aldi did home delivery, I'd be back like a shot.

It’s because they’ve now stopped doing the star products etc! It is rubbish now, they were still doing it in January and I made £13, it stopped on 31st Jan and in Feb I’ve got 50p😂

Yes and they've also stopped giving rewards for spending given amounts.

Very disappointing.

We've noticed this too. So disappointing and we drove past an Aldi to get there. Last year we earned £150 that we saved into our Christmas pot.

I was thinking the same!

Hopefully it will be back after the 'Rollback' promotion ends!

They will probably say its cos they are bringing back Rollback

ChicBalonz · 16/02/2025 08:24

Apparently the new CEO doesn't like rewards programs and thinks prices should be cheaper overall hence the return of rollback. He also doesn't like round prices or those ending with a .99

I did a £90 shop at Asda the other day and didn’t get anything in my cash pot at all

I noticed this last week - there were some really random prices like £2.03 and £1.91
