About 4.5 - 5 years ago lost track and bit. Dd was in a DV relationship. She had to have alot of support heavy involvement with SS etc .

He went to prison got 18 months i think it was, but done 9 . But in all he's ended up in prison for 4 ish years with short gaps of being out. He would be out anything from 3 days to 3 weeks then back in due to either breaking license conditions or breaking restraining order. He was let out again recently.

Most recently he had found out where DD lived. So dd had to be moved. Which took alot of work.

Dd found out that he had followed his probation officer home and to her child's school and made threats. So she had to stop working with him.. I don't know what became of that .

There's also reports from 4 other woman that he's harmed in some way during his times out of prison. So there's been a warrant out for his arrest due to them 4 woman and breaking the restraining order in DD case. He was on the run for around 4 months. And he got arrested a few days ago.

What I don't get is why ? What is the point he could have done his 9 months. Stopped all this shit and got on with his life . But no he keeps putting himself back in prison. And can't seem to leave woman alive when he is out .

I just thought if he's been arrested and recalled. Would he be in prison up north where he was arrested. Or would they bring him back to the original area he done a runner from

I watched a Programme recently. When the stalker/DV is stopped and sent to prison it disrupts their routine/lifestyle.
And they don’t like that so they will often reoffend when out.

Uricon2 · 15/02/2025 15:24

Because it's what he is, @Somepeople25 a dangerous, entitled man. I'm sorry for your DD and any ohter woman or child who comes across him.

This is a bit like sending a serial killer to jail 4 months then getting all surprised when he goes back to killing people once he's back on the streets.

Don't they put these guys in some sort of public "offenders list"? That way when we (unbeknown to us) meet one of these crazies we can look up his name? It would be a great way of protecting women and children.

I guess that's what clairs law is for . But it's not that simple really is it . And he's meant to tell probation if he gets inti a relationship which obviously he's not going to do .

I guess that makes sense. Even though it's shit for the people that he crosses

He's probably on the dating apps hunting down poor clueless women. We should have an app to check out DV charges.

Yeah he probably has been or simlar. There should definitely be an app .I mean people give fake names don't they . But I bet something like that would help. It should be a feature within dating apps.

I knew of someone who was on bail for sexual assault of a minor child and on dating apps declaring he was innocent to his poor blindsided wife and that once he was proved innocent he would be back home with her all the time on dating apps looking for the next idiot (his wife divorced him obviously)

Wow that's just awful. I pray he's in prison. People like him should never be allowed out

Behaving like this dosent bring him happiness though?

Wibblywobblybobbly · 15/02/2025 19:52

It's probably completely unworkable, but wouldn't it be great if there was a dating app where everyone on it had to prove their identity and be DBS checked? I know it wouldn't stop people that haven't been caught yet, but at least women would know that they're not chatting to someone who is catfishing them or whos just out of prison.

You WOULD think he'd want to move on with his life OP, I agree.

but, I think that's just who they are - it's like they can't NOT do it. And the fucking energy they put into doing this sort of shit is colossal too. Never, ever assume that one day they will just run out of energy.

It's like child killers. They just keep beating up on the child until that child has been killed. they never stop beforehand. Just keep going.

It would even beyound dating apps. With almost the technology we have you would think it would be possible.

Re beating up children. Then they have to be prepared to go to.prison and be hated by people and run the chance of being beaten up every day?
Is it worth it, try and get some therapy to find out why you want to behave in that way in the first place.
