House stinks of vomit/cheese

Our cleaners came today, and I have no idea what they've sprayed on our cushions/carpets but the house absolutely reeks of vomit/cheese/wet dog 😭

Any idea how I can get rid of the smell? Or what they might have sprayed?!

Do they secretly hate you?!

When I was pregnant, the smell of lillies went from being one of my favourite smells to repugnant. Apparently some people always think lillies smell awful....so potentially they have sprayed something which smells of lillies?

Have they used a steam cleaner or carpet cleaner that might not have been cleaned properly between jobs?
Neutradol always smells foul to me, so it could be the ‘top notes’ of the spray they have used. Anything watermelony too - bleeurgh!
I would open windows and put little bowls of bicarbonate of soda in the rooms if possible, it will help absorb the smell.

It's washing the floors with a dirty mop or dirty water, I think.

I once used some carpet and upholstery cleaner that smelt of vomit, I think it might have been the Dr Beckmann one. You could try covering the affected carpet and cushions with a freshener powder that smells nice and then hoover it off after a couple of hours
