I think this maybe one of my last messages... So I wish you all a four-in-one every day.
Mumsnet has, this evening, starting sending me blocking pop ups about how I need to disable the ad blocker on my browser. Then blocking me from reading more.
I am a disabled OAP with limited income. I use an internet connection that is controlled and paid for by someone else who has put the ad block on at router level.
Consequently, I am unable to 'whitelist' Mumsnet. I can't afford the monthly payment either what with the way my pension is being eroded in real terms every day as the CoL increases.
I have emailed support but no real response yet. I firmly believe this new move is discrimination WRT ageism, disability and poverty at its best...

That really sucks @BasilParsley .from looking at some of the threads, it's really going to hit some people hard. I'm somehow lucky and hope I'm not jinxing myself that the mobile version on my android phone has very few ads and seems to avoid the myriad issues others report. I hope you find another ad free, wall based quiz community

I know you are on some of the other games threads too. I use the mobile version on iPhone and like @PuneorPlayonWords, I haven't had any problems re ads, I don't use a blocker but often don't get the ads anyway. Does seem a sneaky way to get people to pay for Premium. Hopefully you'll find a way round it and we'll see you again. Good luck 🤞
