Gold spoons, why so cake makers sprinkle with a gold spoon?

IG has tons of videos of cake makers sprinkling decorations on cupcakes etc.with a gold spoon. Any reason why gold??? Or just for IG aesethetics?

Ridiculous aesthetic thing. Same with pink or black gloves.
