Out of the blue last June I developed Oesophagitis...it was awful. Had endoscopy which confirmed it (plus a hiatus hernia) . On meds. Eventually it improved but was put on a waiting list for the above test...and now the date has come through. I'm also having some rough symptoms again so it probably does need doing, but I am frankly terrified... have a horrible gag reflex, and will be sent home with a tube down my nose and throat!
Does anyone have any experience of this...and how to get through it?!
