Ideas for fundraiser for adult literacy group please.

Trying to think of a good way to raise money for resources for the local adult literacy group. Something to do with Reading would be good. 20 -25 volunteers who could get involved and it would be good to do something together. Have had lots of thoughts but nothing is quite right. Any wise mumsnetters have any good ideas please?

Hello OP, former literacy tutor here. My first thought was a spelling bee challenge, pitting the volunteers against anyone else willing to give it a go- would be even better if you could raise the stakes and get any famous or notable locals/dignitaries involved.
