What age did you stop attending play dates?

I don't mean picnics in the park where you would all go together but just to drop and run at their friends instead of also staying or having their mums over with them when they cone to play.

Probably after first term of reception? I’d have wanted to know the parents on at least a superficial level though.

4? To be fair, I can’t really remember either of mine having many play dates in reception. But definitely it was made clear it was just a drop off situation as none of us wanted to do any hosting. But once we got to know each other at school and parties first.
