My sinus'!!

They hurt so much! They feel stingy, I do have a slight cold so guess it's because of that. My head around my eyebrows and sides of my nose are so painful. Does this sound like a sinus infection?

Use cooled boiled water, you don't need any special "sterile water", boiled water is enough.

I've been doing sinus washes for years...genetics suck, dad and I both struggle with a malformed sinus.

I get sinusitis due to allergies and I use the Sterimar spray, a hot water bottle to relieve the pain (it also gets the mucous moving), co codamol for severe pain and some guifenesin (can't spell it) to thin the mucous and help it move. I also use a Beclometasone nasal spray to calm the inflammation down.

This is the spray I've been using, but it's old and don't think it's doing much ! It goes away for abit then comes back with a vengeance

Also get yourself to the dentist - sinus infection can be linked to dental infection and they can feed each other. I used to get sinusitis all the time until my periodontal disease was under control.
In Japan they treat both together.

Well I rang the doctors who said tough basically got to wait it out, buy some more beconase.
Yesterday was the eorst pain ever, earache, jaw ache. Cheek and nose and eye pain. Only thing that helped was lying completely still with a hot water bottle on my face. As soon as I moved boom pain was back.
Today my nose is running and had alot of snot (sorry) this morning, I didn't even think I was that congested ! But must of been as the pain isn't as bad today.
