Brighton parking and pavillion

We are planning to spend a day in Brighton travelling by hire car. Where’s best for parking and do we have to book tickets for the pavilion in advance?

If you don't need to be parked very close to places I would recommend using the park and ride. Brighton is not a car friendly city.

Madeira Drive, turn left at roundabout by the pier. Or Marina is free for limited time and catch Volks Railway to pier.
