Kayne West - highlighting Mental Health

I think he's got issues. Many, many issues! But, I also think it's maybe a good thing that it highlights celebs aren't perfect, and do suffer mental health too. And brings it to the spotlight.

I think that whole family are irrelevant and are just trying to become relevant again

I think poor mental health doesn’t excuse his disgusting views on loads of subjects. It may lower his inhibitions of expressing himself (poorly) but we can all see who he truly is at heart. Having said that I do hope he gets help for his very public crisis.

If I remember correctly he has bipolar disorder, as do many other celebrities who don't share the same horrific views or display similar behaviour to him.

Mental health conditions aside, he's a twat.

He denies this now (media reports over the past few days) and says his wife took him to the doctor again and he is now saying autism not a MH disorder.

Many people who have bipolar are very unable to recognise it in themselves, especially in the midst of a mental health crisis. I wouldn’t believe anything at all he says right now.

Not in any way excusing the awful things he’s coming out with, but he should clearly be in hospital right now for his own safety.

The man may well have poor mental health but he is also behaving disgustingly. There's a huge number of young people who cannot distinguish between positive and negative behaviour and will think what he's doing is cool, or funny or aspirational. Of course he's going to say it's poor mental health, or he's got autism. I think it's actually really offensive to those who do have poor mental health or autism. The alternative is that he's actually scum and I don't think any of his lackeys will be voicing that opinion loudly.

Yes, not defending his views but if he actually has bipolar and he’s off his meds he’s really not responsible for what he says. I mean quite possibly he’s a piece of shit anyway and this is what he thinks but now he doesn’t filter his thoughts. But bipolar can make you behave in ways you wouldn’t normally behave
