I don't like tea or coffee, and I am not a huge fan of cordial or fresh juice. I normally live off fizzy drinks and water but not really enough of the latter.
Over the last few months I have been getting very regular heartburn. It is now 2-3 times a day and getting worse.
I am guessing my diet is to blame and am trying to fix it, starting with fizzy drinks.
Please give tips on giving up fizzy drinks!

I drink kombucha. I detest tea, and it is made from tea, but it doesn't taste of tea. It is fizzy but good for you.

Yeah I think I need to give it a go. Tried it once and it just tasted like sparkling water. Will have to try again.

I’m only on the intro at the moment but I’ve started reading ultra processed people. The author of that says if you’re only going to give up one UPF, make it fizzy pop. Maybe reading that book might help?

good luck op! Hope you manage to crack it!

My cure for an acid stomach is sparkling water with some apple cider vinegar. It’s surprisingly refreshing and calms the stomach.

I’ve gone cold turkey and I’m a month in and I’ve stopped the squash as well. I still get cravings now and then but they’re not as bad as they were. I like the San Pellegrino essenza, which is naturally flavoured sparkling water. I also stick lots of fresh fruit in water as well. I’ve tried adding fruit cordial to fizzy water as well, which I quite like - nothing with artifical sweeteners in.

I thought the fizz was triggering migraines and they have definitely lessened this month so it is giving me incentive to keep going.
