Just saw someone mention one in another thread.

Are they any good?

Seems stupid to me to buy a contraption that costs money and takes up space to replicate walking when you could just … walk?

Yes I’ve got one, goes up to 10 or 11 mph from memory. It’s great on my wfh days when I don’t actually leave the house most of the time.

For those of us who can't leave the house easily without children or others we care for following along. Doesn't sound at all stupid to me. Also can watch the TV while doing it, win win!

Have heard a few people with these who walk in them whilst doing work calls, to get extra steps in. They're quite compact so can put it out of the way when not in use.

I had one, thought I would use it loads but it was too big to slide under my sofa and so I had to lean it against the wall, I slightly and it was surprisingly heavy. I'm the end I got fed up of pulling it out and plugging it and found I didn't use it. So sold it on.
I would say depends on the space you have and if you can leave it out or tuck it away easily.
