I've very stupidly put a hat in the washing machine that has been dipped in motor oil, about 1/4 of the hat was covered in it.
The washing machine is now black inside when the cycle finished.
I'm now running an empty, very long, very hot wash to clean it out.
Will there be any damage to the drum?
Any advice please.
