Failed my driving test ( again)

As above just failed my test for the fourth time. I tried years ago and had one test where I had no faults and one major, followed by two disastrous tests. I was really put off after that and didn’t have enough money to keep trying. Today after a year of having lessons I plucked up the courage ended up with one major and four minors. These were all in an automatic. I worked out very early on that a gear stick wasn’t going to be manageable. I’m quite an academic person but really struggle with physical/ practical stuff. Do I keep trying? I feel so down. I got a really easy test route today as well and a pleasant examiner. Disappointed with myself

@SpringIsSpringing25 DH was very good in the end and did take me out. Although we did squabble quite a bit with him in the passenger seat 🤣. I’m going to get my own car but in the meantime I’m driving his and going to have a few more lessons with my instructor as tbh I am a very nervous driver so I really need to work on my confidence. If anyone has any suggestions for a first car I’d be very pleased to hear about it! I’m clueless!

I always recommend a Fiesta. They don't manufacture them any longer but I have always loved them. Fords also have a filament in the windscreen which defrosts in seconds without waiting for the screen to clear on cold days. Nice size, seats go down at the back. Can get many extras on them, cheap to run and maintain and really reliable.

I have a fiesta. It's a money pit and I have to scrape the inside of the windscreen during winter.
