Tenerife - Costa adeje or Los cristianos or??

Have been to Costa Adeje in the winter and liked it, considering Los Cristianos next time, maybe for a change but what's it like? I liked Costa Adeje for nice beaches, pubs with live music. Playas de Las Americas is an absolute no. This will be for an adults only holiday with friends who are looking for nice restaurants, option to go out in evening to nice restaurants, bars. Nice beaches. Thanks!

Los Christianos is quite quiet so maybe not ideal, although it is close to Las Americas if you're after a bit more lively.

Hotel recommendations would be great too please!

I've been to los Christianos a few times. It has hundreds of bars and restaurants and lots of bars to drink in with live music.
Our favourites are Taurus restaurant, Mokelino on the sea front and Star of Bengal.
The buses are really easy to use, we went to The Monkey Park and Siam Park. We always stay at Coral Los Alisos Hotel just because my friend owns an apartment that she rents out to us, I believe it's 3 or 4 star, Self catering with nice rooms and a big pool. 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

I love Los cristianos and go every 2 years but see it more as an apartment self catering place. Much prefer it to Costa Adeje

Las Vistas beach is lovely, Los cristianos beach is nice, however does have the ferries coming in and out just behind. Lots of great dining options depending on what you want.

Costa Adeje is more upmarket than LC. Lots of good restaurants and bars in both.

Los cristianos is very quiet.
Costa adeje is more upbeat but not in the same league as playa del last Americas.
CA has more entertainment during the day, new bars, friendly atmosphere and good restaurants.
We like to go a couple of times a year so stay in the more basic hotel. We like to get out and about. You can walk to LC, pdla and back to la calleta.
Hovima Santa Maria is clean and breakfast is good.
Or we stay at the sunset harbour apartments.

Why not PdA?

I agree not the strip but the rest of it is exactly what you want.
