Has anyone successfully got the council to install pavement barriers?

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone has successfully got the council to install pavement barriers? This is in an area near a school and I currently find it dangerous as the pavement is quite narrow.

Would love to hear of anyone's experiences and the process

Have you asked school? They often have better luck at these things.

I am not aware of anyone, and my understanding is that the presumption is against having them, so you need a very good case. You would have more chance I think getting a speed limit combined with speed humps or some other measure to reduce car speed.
