Worse thing your in-laws have ever done/said?

Whats the worst thing your in-laws have ever said/done to you? Long list of mine include:
MIL telling me on our wedding day “Did not expect this to be this nice from you”
MIL asking me how much my jacket was and when replying £50 she said (god are you sure, wouldn’t expect you to fork out that much!)
trying to feed my 9mp lucozade
wanting someone to blow smoke into my 7yo’s ear to cure his earache
telling me it was my fault her husband was coughing…. The list of gems is endless…GO!

Ooh, so many, but one particular highlight was when a neighbour of hers was visiting when i popped in. The neighbour said i was looking well and had i lost weight, to which my MIL butted in with "oh no, you want to see her from behind". Charming!

Mine tried to set up my XH with his ex girlfriend just after I'd moved in with him. They preferred her, even though she'd turned down his proposal and he and I had got together about six months later. They bought tickets for a ball she was giving and told him he would be going as her guest.

They were obsessed with her, but her family had a lot of money and mine didn't. Apparently this made her 'better'.

Miscarried our first pregnancy. We were both devastated. It was ectopic. I was admitted to hospital. MIL asked if I was sure I had been pregnant.
