I use Ecosia search engine which is based in Germany. They plant trees according to the number of searches they get.

Duckduckgo for searches. Oh, actually idk where it is based. But they don't track you

for me and they do have an App.

i haven’t tried DuckDuckGo - is it good? Edited to say I’ve just looked it up and it is American.
