Does anyone know of anywhere that offers such a thing, or something similar? He loves his cooking and I need to fill up his summer!

If you look on the DofE Awards website under opportunity finder there are a couple listed - filter by skill or residential.

Online cooking club

(Sorry - not sure if this is still operational , but it’s the first person I thought of. I know she used to run a cookery school in Tunbridge Welks, but that appears to have closed now).

You're right, sadly it looks like there's no residential element any more but thank you anyway.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award - Wold Escapes - He doesn't need to be doing the dofe to take part. It's a 5 day residential course in East Yorkshire

If you think he may want to do a chalet season or something in future take a look at orchards cookery school, they do residential courses.

If you've got plenty of money, Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons does one but it's not cheap!!

Hum, Hank b looked at the recent brochure, I can't see the 5 day one they used to do...there's a 2 day bread making course.

I flipping love it there...I've done 2 different courses and they were fantastic.
