Best supermarket fruit?

Very random thread I know! Which supermarket do you find sells the best quality fruit? I want to eat more fruits eg berries and nice satsumas but my recent few shops from my usual supermarket haven’t been that great. Is M&S fruit good? I’ve also read good things about Lidl.

The bananas are much better at my local Morrisons than they are in my local M&S.

Waitrose.

Uber eats often does 50% off fruit and veg on a Monday and I get it then because although it is lovely I can't face Waitrose prices otherwise

M&S every time. They are known to have contracts with many of the premium growers. Eg Turkish cherries, Kentish Victoria plums, currently South African nectarines and peaches. The quality is unsurpassed. More expensive yes, but less waste because it’s actually good

Not to mention luscious, fat black U.K. grown cherries during the sadly too-short season.

Delicious! I’ve also got some gorgeous blackberry’s.

Local apples and homegrown blackcurrants from the freezer. I grow strawberries but never enough ripe at once for more than a small meal but ok for putting on breakfast musli and yoghurt. Local rhubarb in season and the rest from M&S. Bit dearer but keeps better.

Definitely M&S and Waitrose. Possibly a bit more expensive than other supermarkets, but worth it.

Lidl and Aldi fruit isn't great quality imo and doesn't last long.

And the big juicy strawberries!

Agree. Went today, mainly for the fruit!

The strawberry’s are LUSH. I usually always go to Waitrose but have been converted. And a lot on 2 for £4!
