Best compact stroller: Mamas and Papas Libro vs Silver Cross Clic

Does anyone have any recommendations on either the Mamas and Papas Libro or the Silver Cross Clic? Looking for a compact stroller that's easy to put up/down, ideally has a handle for over the shoulder carrying (or a carry handle could work) and suitable for city walking. The clic is cabin sized so works well however the handle was quite low as I am tall, the Libro seems the perfect height but is bigger than the clic and I can't decide between the two!
Or if anyone has any recommendations for other compact strollers that would be great? Thanks!

I have had both strollers and, for me, I definitely prefer the clic. 100%.

For background, I’ve had a bit of a faff with strollers recently. I had the Yoyo which is absolutely brilliant but it broke and I couldn’t afford a new replacement. I bought the Libro as I liked the slim fold and it’s looks nice and big and I liked the adjustable handle too. It just didn’t come close to what I was used to with the yoyo. It didn’t turn well, and need two hands at all times (whereas the yoyo was easy to steer even one-handed while holding my others sons hand). Libro had a bigger basket which was good. But the straps were awkward, the footmuff was difficult to zip up (which zips on the under side so hard to access), less easy to close while footmuff attached, doesn’t stand up when folded, and it actually felt quite chunky when folded as although it is flat it is still fairly long and wide. I only had it a couple of months.

I’ve recently (in the last week) opened my lovely new silver cross clic and it is great. Not quite as lovely as the yoyo but, at half the price, it comes a very close second and it gets right many of the things that I liked about the yoyo in the first place. It doesn’t have a shoulder strap but once folded you can lift it by the bumper bar so it’s easy to lift into car boot etc. steers nicely and much more easy to use one handed when I need to. I don’t miss the libro’s extendable handle… for me it just made very little difference in the end. I’m still getting used to the magnetic harness buckle thing on the clic but I do like it and I think it will prove better once it becomes second nature.

I’m not certain that the clic is definitely cabin approved everywhere. Looking online at the dimensions and comparing them to cabin-dimensions guidance on a range of airlines, it is technically slightly too big. But that wasn’t an issue really for me. Perhaps some nicer airlines give a bit of wriggle room….? It definitely feels bigger than the lovely yoyo once folded but that’s a compromise I was happy to make.

Buy the clic!! I got it recently from John Lewis and got a free footmuff due to a promo code. Not sure if that deal is still available.

Happy to answer any questions if you have anything specific you want to know.

I also have the clic and love it. I'm 5"8, dh is almost 6" and he hasn't complained about the height. It's so compact for transporting which is amazing for us as we have 4 kids. It can even fit in the stairwell of the back seats.
