How often do you weigh yourself?

I've been actively losing weight for a number of years now and reached my goal and am learning to maintain.

I will probably still weigh myself weekly for a while to make sure I'm doing the right things for maintaining but I'm wondering how often I should check in with the scales after that?

Do you even weigh? Or just go by clothes fitting etc?

I've gone from 18st to 9st and am feeling nervous about gaining.

For the first year or so after hitting target I weighed 2/3 times a week still, just to make sure I didn’t creep back up. At some point I dropped down to once a week for a couple of years. The last couple of years it can be 3-4 weeks before I remember to get on the scales. I still log daily on MFP though, although I’m not as strict with sticking to target as I was, but my clothes still feel the same tbh so I can’t rely on that. I find change up & down by a max of 4lbs.
Congrats on your weight loss and hitting your target!

Every other month. I tend to go off how loose / tight my work trousers and gym leggings are.

Honestly? I weigh myself everyday. It will then dictate what I eat for that day. Currently on holiday for two weeks and the anxiety regarding weight gain is a lot. It's tough.

I never weigh myself, I have no idea how much I weigh, I just go by how I feel, which really translates to how tight my jeans are.

I have never weighed myself. When medial professionals do I ask them not to tell me.

Maybe every 4m if I'm bored in the gym or at work if a patient hasn't turned up to clinic and I'm bored. Just go on clothes sizing I still wear work trousers from my uni days at 18 now mid 30s. If they get tight I know need to lose weight

Maybe 3 or 4 times a year.
