Kefir and kombucha during antibiotics?

I’m on antibiotics for a nasty dose of pneumonia. I’m keen to build up my immunity and gut health as I’m going back to work on Monday so I’ve bought kefir and kombucha.
Is it worth eating/ drinking these while still on antibiotics or would it be best to wait til the course is finished? Don’t know if the antibiotics will just ‘kill’ the good stuff in the kefir and kombucha.
Anyone got any idea?

I’ve always been 🤔 about when my GP tells me to take probiotics while I’m taking antibiotics.

Surely there’s no point putting more bacteria in there until I’m no longer taking the stuff that will kill all the bacteria? Seems like burning money to me.

@VoltaireMittyDream Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. Might hang on til I’m finished the antibiotics.

I drink kefir every morning so continue to do so even on antibiotics. Doesn't hurt and doesn't go to waste
