Been breastfeeding my LO for 5 months and last week I got ill with a cold. I took Lemsip Max for 3 days (probably 5 sachets in total, starting Saturday) without even thinking… then on Tuesday I found out you’re not supposed to take it while breastfeeding so I stopped immediately.
My supply has seemed fine the last few days but this morning I woke up not feeling engorged for the first time ever, and the first feed of the day LO only sucked for a few minutes, didn’t seem very interested and if I squeezed the breast not a lot came out. Is it possible that the decongestants in the Lemsip have such a delayed effect??
If this happened to you, when did your supply go back to normal?
