How do you go about using these credits (where you've reported a dodgy ingredient). I use the app, do they automatically apply this credit to the next order?

Yes, they automatically add the discount to your next non discounted box. I used to use Hello Fresh but moved on to Gousto now. Gousto allow you to use credit with any boxes ordered including alongside any discounts.

I recently stopped HF after being on it for 16 weeks
ive moved to Gousto and find they are better than HF
(cheaper, more choice, better support)

I have a code for 65% off Gousto if anyone fancies trying that. I find it better than HF as there are far more recipes to choose from each week, you can use credit alongside any discounts, plus you can cancel straight after ordering but still be able to order one off boxes whenever you want rather than being tied into a subscription.

@Decafflatteplease I just googled 'Amazon Prime free hello fresh delivery' and worked through the steps, it took me to my Amazon account, benefits, I chose (never know how to spell this!) Hello Fresh and somehow it linked the two.

If no special offers on then you kind of have to pay full price regardless.

Just to say though, with HF, I don't use it every week. I skip more than I use it. It does allow for that.

We get hf most weeks, yes it's expensive but worth it for the mental load it takes off! Some weeks we skip it and I wish I hadn't!

As for greater choice - that's great but I already struggle to choose from HF 😄 and sometimes I let them choose it for me

It didn't add the discount!
I've paid £59 for 4 meals, I think that's full price.

It should give you the discounted amount at the end before you check out. Did it show full price?
Any problems, contact them and they will sort it for you. Their customer services is very good. You should get 65% off the full price with friend referrals.

The discount doesn’t show up until right at the end of the process. I think it shows the price it should be on your order review but they knock the 65% off so when you check your bank balance you should be charged the heavily discounted amount. I have never had any problems with people getting their discounts with friend referrals before but if they have taken the full amount then they should sort it for you if you contact them either by live chat or phone.

Checked my bank account and it didn’t take off the amount.

Ah, if you have used the same email then that might be why as it is for new customers. Cancel the order and try again with a different email address, that should work. My friend did this and was able to get the discount despite having used them before.
