Any good?

Ours is good at being an oven, and is good at being a combi oven - i.e.jacket potatoes cook quicker. But it's a crap microwave. There's no turntable and beyond the initial 'ooh it's got a metal oven shelf that you can microwave on' it takes so much longer than our previous microwave. I'm contemplating taking it out and just putting a microwave in ... as we have another double oven.

Agreed, the microwave function is rubbish. Where before it would take 10 seconds to melt chocolate, it's now about a minute or more. Jacket potatoes take forever and need to be turned due to no rotating. If space is a premium then you get used to it and get by but just bear in mind that the microwave timings will need to be upped a lot!

Can I ask you both is it a new or old one?

Ours is 3 years old.

Mine is about 8 years old now
