Egyptian cotton bed linen questions

I am planning to buy sets of Egyptian cotton bed linen, but have two main questions. I really like bold primary colours, because I have a lot of space and white walls.

1. Is Egyptian cotton bed linen the absolute best in cotton? I love cotton above everything else.

1. I have hunted high and low online, but it is very hard to find the exact sizes. The closest to what I want is the set below, but the sizes are a bit off. What I really need is a duvet cover around 230 x 170 cm and pillowcases of 70 x 50 cm.

I won't have anything but Egyptian cotton for my bedding. It's very hardwearing and feels great to snuggle up into. I always go for 400 thread count though - worth the extra money if you can find some you want...

Yes it's the best. Supima cotton is softer but Egyptian cotton has a crisper and 'dryer' feeling to it and it's what I prefer. Go for the highest thread count available.
