Neurodiverse couples at opposite ends

Ahhhhh just need to take a breath.

I have ADHD and I am impulsive, a million miles an hour and once something is decided I just throw myself full pelt at it.

My husband is Autistic, hates change and finds anything to do with process (forms etc) really stressful.

We are at a period when lots of turnings are up in the air and I am super excited and he is super grumpy and I just need somewhere to take a breath, rein it in and sit in my hands for a second whilst he catches up. Which he will.

Any one got any tips on how to navigate this stuff with out exploding trying to keep it all in whilst he processes?

Not sure I can be much help but I do understand the situation of clashing neurodiversity, my husband and daughter are autistic and I'm fairly sure I have ADHD. You might get good advice posting on the Neurodiverse Mumsnetters board.
