I need ideas on how to cut the toast

Whenever DS asks for toast I try and cut it a different way each time, but I’m running out of ideas and as you can see, many cuts are the same/very similar. The only rule is that I have to be able to use a knife (or scissors, it’s so much easier with scissors!) to cut it, no cookie cutters!

I have included an uncut piece of toast for people to draw lines on 😁

Must it always be 4 pieces?

How about three or four long strips?

I did my DGD like this at the weekend she thought it was great. Did it with scissors.

I used to do that one all the time but I figured since it was so basic there’s no point adding it to the album 🤣

Going out a bit more is probably a good idea.

I used to cut our DCs into the initial letter of their name ("T" and "L", thankfully)!

I’m sorry that something so small that makes my 6yr old smile causes you so much bitterness. Maybe try cutting your own toast into fun shapes? It might cheer you up.

I cut the crusts off for my Grandson this morning because he always leaves them.
Guess what? He left an inch all way round the slice.
