Mirena coil - is there still hope

I've had my Mirena coil in for 6 months now and my periods are still very regular and last as long as ever! I was really hoping they'd stop altogether, but would that have happened by now if it was going to?

Does anyone have any success stories of periods stopping after the six month mark to give me hope, please?

Periods don't stop for everyone. Have you felt the threads? Checked. it's still in place, you can go to your Dr's for a check if you're not sure

Yes, I know it doesn't stop for everyone - I was just hoping that I might be one of the ones it does work for! I suppose my periods would have stopped by now if they were going to though.
