So people of a certain age will only be able to remember this but, I grew up with The Storyteller magazine and absolutely loved it. (It was a magazine you got with a tape, and you read it with the narrator reading it.

Is there anything like it, or something that reads stories - I know Tonie is similar but I don't want another "thing" was thinking about something similar, but on-line or something

Could you buy the original set? Also someone who loved it, and looked forward to the new one every time it came out!!!!

I was obsessed with them! I listened to the cassettes every night before bed, my mum got me the full set from a car boot sale. I do remember being petrified of a few of them though, although still loved them. They were just very well done.
I don’t know of an equivalent but some of the storybook audio are on YouTube.

Oh I got all excited then that someone had commented and was hopeful of a solution. But, I am also excited that I am not alone in just how great they were!

It was the "ding" as the page turned!

*off to try and find originals! Although, can't believe there is nothing like it- hopefully some editor or something is reading and comes up with a new version
