Can anyone help me work out my BMR and TDEE please?

I know absolutely nothing about this but I need to lose a bit of weight. I don't want to 'diet', I want to improve my diet as a whole and feel that I need to reduce my calorie intake as a whole.

I've looked at so many online calculators and I seem to get a different number on each one even though I'm putting in identical information

I'm 58, 5 ft 2 and 154lbs. When trying to work out my TDEE one of the calculators gave me a lower number than (what I think is) my BMR, so that can't be right!

Can anyone help someone whose never done this before out please?

I use MyNetDiary app for this. Just put your stats in. You can tell it if you want to lose, gain or maintain your weight and it will work it all out. You can put in activity level too. It will also work out how much of each type of food you should aim for - fats, protein, carbs etc.

Thank you. 😊 Doesn't give me many calories a day if I want to lose a bit of weight. All I want is to be able to eat and drink exactly what I like without putting on a lb, is that too much to ask? 😂
